The Chef

Randy Wong joined the Esmirada Group of Restaurants as Chef De Cuisine in 2000. Renowned for his dishes like Paella Rica, Penne Arrabbiata, Linguine Vongole, Esmirada Skewers as well as Mussels and Lamb Cous Cous which won the “Best Dish Award”, Randy’s passion and flair for Spanish cuisine is reflected in his mouth-watering creations.

In 1986, 19-year old Randy began his formal culinary education at Shatec, Singapore. His dream as a chef started at Goodwood Park Hotel where he was appointed as a leading cook for 6 years.

His most memorable moment as a chef was to represent Esmirada to win “Gold” – Best Dish Award – Theme Restaurant in the Singapore Gourmet Hunt 2006. It was a milestone for Randy and a celebration of his culinary expertise.
